Linda's Craft Room

Hello Blog Friends!  I can't believe that it has been over a year since I last posted on here. As you all know well, life can get pretty hectic and one doesn't always get much time to do the things they love.
But recently I did get to make a card for a very special person's birthday.  It was quite interesting because that person actually left a message on my blog a few days ago about her coming to visit and never seeing anything new.  So Lin, this one's for you!

The stamp I used was Holly Wreath Tilda but I cut off the wreath and added a Melissa Frances mini frame instead.

The background brick wall is an Impression Obsession cover a card stamp and I added a die cut window frame. The foliage is a DooHickey die and a Martha Stewart punch.

And because Linda has two cats, her craft room wouldn't be complete with without them!

And look, she's already received a birthday card from a secret admirer!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to update my blog more regularly!

I'm going to enter my card in these challenges:
Ribbon Girls April Card Challenge
Magnolia-licious Challenge #7 Anything Goes + Metal (because I've used lots of metal brads!)

Honoured to have inspired a reboot of this fantastic blog!! Having received this card in person, I can honestly say its a hundred times more special 'in the flesh'! That wall has depth and texture. The colour of the sky through the window, is exactly the colour I like to see outside mine. I am a bit vertically challenged and NEED to stand on top of things to reach secret places in my craft room, and I ALWAYS have to scoot a cat out of the box I'm working in. Oh yes, there are always open boxes all over the place! I should also mention Tilda's long hair and droopy bottom - perfect likeness! This is a stunning creation! Thanks so much Amanda!

Thank you all for your lovely comments. Lin, I'm so glad you enjoyed your card, I had to smile at you pointing out all the similarities - there were a few there that I hadn't even thought of....vertically challenged, long hair and droopy bottom!
